I believe customer experience has the most meaningful impact on success in a business. Customer centricity in sales, operations, and engineering is vital. A genuine customer focus moves a business from transactional interactions, to true partnership. The best solutions come through collaboration, so my proudest achievements are building high performance, highly engaged, cross functional teams working towards the common goal of customer success. I built my career on a strong foundation of construction engineering and project management on major construction projects in Australia, Ireland, and the UK. I understand the importance of time on the job site, and working face to face with customers to solve challenges in a collaborative way. In my engineering leadership positions I recognise the importance of cross functional alignment between sales, engineering, finance, and operations. I use systems thinking to manage cross functional alignment, to control workflow, allocate resources, and most importantly to ensure successful project execution.My next career steps were into commercial and operational leadership. I established a new country branch from the ground up, I developed a customer base and a high performance team, to create a multi-million EBITDA business in the space of three years. A promotion into the International business provided me the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and customers across Europe, developing revenue streams in new end-markets. This period involved sales pipeline improvements, leveraging my strong problem solving, and project management skills. I created data driven action plans measured through OKRs. Interested in exploring leadership opportunities with innovative, customer-centric organisations in construction and adjacent industries to develop products and services that improve the customer experience.
