Led the requirements and architecture for multiple software projects and products, all in the network security domain. These included:- Development of a Next Generation Firewall reference implementation, based on VPP and Snort, for benchmarking and architectural analysis;- Development of a Tunnel Offload solution that enabled the offloading, via a gRPC API, of IPsec and GENEVE tunneling from a host to the Intel(R) NetSec Accelerator Reference Design, a PCIe add-in card codenamed Phantom Lake;- Development of an optimized layer 4 stateful firewall, again configured via a gRPC API, with multiple backends, including one based on VPP.
