I spent 12 years inside politics and government as a campaign manager, senior advisor and chief of staff to Mayors, state-wide elected officials and a U.S. Senator. In those positions, I successfully helped elect Stephen P. Clark as Mayor of Miami, Alex Penelas as Mayor of Miami-Dade County and Bill Nelson as State Treasurer and Insurance Commissioner and United State Senator. As a Chief of Staff to Mayor Penelas and Senator Nelson, I helped architect a number of important public initiatives, such as the deal to develop the American Airlines Arena, Alex Penelas' Safe Streets Clean Sweep crime fighting plan, and Nelson's innovative plan to attract insurance capital to the State of Florida. Most recently, I led the Miami Dolphins negotiations with Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez and the County Commission for a public private partnership to finance improvements to Hard Rock Stadium to attract Super Bowls and other major sporting events, and led the effort for Uber to authorize ride-sharing in South Florida. Some of my marquis clients include the Miami Dolphins, Microsoft and Accenture.
