DC Citywide Streetlight Asset Management Services, Washington, DC | Project Value $42M | 2014-2020I served as Superintendent and Operations Manager on this performance-based asset management for the District. Services include monitoring, exercising, repairing, preparing and maintaining of streetlight assets including the electrical control and lighting systems for the South Capitol Street Bridge. Assets maintained include approximately 69,000 lights and 38,000 poles.Through this contract, I assumed the responsibility for managing lighting assets along all of DDOT’s alleys, streets (including streetlights on traffic signal combination poles), highways, pedestrian/bike bridges and trails, hi-mast, underpasses, tunnels, bridges (including underdeck and navigation lights), overhead guide signs, and specialty lights, such as radio tower lights, Welcome to Washington signs and China Town Lights, and other assets including manholes and handholes. In addition, the electrical system management for the South Capitol Bridge (a swing span bridge), including all electrical components such as panels and junction boxes that contain equipment/materials. DC Citywide Streetlight Asset Management Services, Washington, DC | Project Value $72M | 2006-2012Through this contract, I assumed the responsibility for managing lighting assets along all of DDOT’s alleys, streets, Underpass and Overhead Guide Signs, and all interstate work. I had direct recruitment/training/Safety Training/staff development initiatives to maximize productivity and good Safety practices for 30+ employees. I was directly involved with DC inspectors on new project acceptance to the Street Light Assets Contract. Wrote daily detailed reports logging work progress for Quality Assurance purposes. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the electrical portion of the contract. Ability to perform task under pressure and within deadline. Highly skilled in designing, assessing, monitoring and implementing various projects. Responsible for administering and organizing electrical maintenance department. Responsible for ensuring that employees are compliance and follows the safety standards of the organization. Proven track record of producing technical productivity guidelines for Maintenance Department.
