Training Instructor (Pad)
CurrentProvides instruction in the Patient Administration and Health Services Management Enlisted Courses and other PAD related activities. Instructs classes using lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and practical exercises.Plans and instructs courses such as Admissions and Dispositions procedures, Medical Statistical Reporting methodology andprocedures, Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, Diagnostic Related Groups, quality assurance in medical records, Risk Management assessments, hospital automation systems and how they interface with the management of inpatient medical records in medical treatment facilities. Plans and instructs classes in the Patient Administration Specialist and Health Service Management consolidated courses. Responsible for teaching classes in the areas of Individual Patient Data Coding, to include Diagnostic Related Groups; Initiation, Maintenance, and Completion of Inpatient and Outpatient Medical Records and associated reports; Admission andDisposition Processing, Medical Terminology, and Anatomy and Physiology and other patient administration and health servicesmanagement related topics and functions.
