Director of the Anti-Submarine and Surface Warfare (ASW/SUW) Warfare Tactics Instructor (WTI) schoolhouse, and Advanced ASW Officer school. Directs the research, development, testing and evaluation of advanced ASW/SUW tactics and doctrine. Oversees and directs the development and publication of ASW and SUW doctrine.

Destroyer Squadron Commander, responsible for the manning, outfitting, training, maintenance and operational performance of eight guided missile destroyers. Assigned as the Command Element for Pacific Fleet's largest humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HA/DR) preparedness mission, Pacific Partnership 2014. Led a team of 400 military construction personnel and medical specialists from eight parter nations while conducting HA/DR efforts in five Western Pacific host nations.

Over a three year tour, I gained a broad spectrum of experience in three distinct entry-level Division Officer jobs. I led a force of 75 Radiomen in the operations and maintenance of USS NIMITZ's communications center. I later directed the ship's three Deck Divisions as the Assistant First Lieutenant, encompassing 115 personnel, the ship's rescue boats and anchoring equipment, and was responsible for over $8 million of lifeboats and lifesaving gear. In my third year aboard the ship I served as the Electrical Division Officer, leading four Officers and 150 Enlisted electricians and interior communications technicians in the operations and maintenance of NIMITZ's lighting, power distribution and electrical safety.
