The Cisco PIX 501E firewall routers were located at remote locations connected via IP SEC L2L tunnels through VPN concentrators. Managed and maintained 4 HP 9315 foundry switches which acted as our core backbone.Implemented MSTP protocol to achieve layer 2 redundancy in core network.Through the use of strategic design, I was responsible for the design and deployment of a facility wide wireless environment consisting of nearly 150 HP and Cisco access points.Assisted in managing Citrix environment with 25 servers running 50 applications.Was responsible for expanding network accessibility, including installation of CAT 5e Ethernet and fiber optic cable, switches, patch panels, and jacks.Daily tasks included design, management, and deployment of VLANs, switches, and any other network related equipment.Designed, installed, configured, and maintained complex routed LAN and WAN networks.Designed, installed, configured, and maintained wireless LAN for entire hospital and new 25,000 square foot facility.
