-Manage team of 2-4 persons-Follow the 5 S system to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of my team-Work overtime on weekly basis of at least 7 hours, many times exceeding 10 hours -Dial-in setups of machines to produce parts that are consistently within plus or minus .003" thousandths of an inch and grind bar stock down to size within .0005" thousandths of an inch-Identify and adjust methods of producing parts to ensure delivery schedules and hours per operation stay on track to meet and beat due dates-Keep up-to-date with industry innovations via trade magazines-Train & retrain team when necessary to eliminate errors-Operate forklifts frequently on daily basis for 6+ years-Read blueprints to ensure parts are being made to current specifications and that team members understand what is required-Review workcards in area for correct notations and to verify procedures are being followed-Maintain equipment (spring winders, bandsaws and CNC mills) and document maintenance-Report relevant info to VP of Production
