Why did I become an Engineer? I guess it came from an insatiable desire to know how everything work and was made. Then my passion for activities from cycling to skiing to swimming led me to the group of people responsible for making the products that helped me do what I love. Once I knew engineers where behind them, it was just a matter of deciding what kind. After I determined that becoming an Engineer was how I was going to help share my passions with others, I have been refining the best method for doing it. Products should first accomplish what they say they are going to do. Once they do that, they should be easy to use and easier to maintain. I believe the best way to accomplish this is by creating simple and streamlined design, through modeling, prototyping, and testing. This method was forged through the experiences of my education, internships, and personal use of equipment. Now I am sharpening my skills and method working in the fitness industry!
