Completed 16 months of initial training leading to full qualification. Monitored plant systems/conditions and mitigated potential problems. Performed routine and surveillance testing of equipment. Maintained emergency response qualifications including: fire brigade leader, first aid responder and emergency communicator. Interacted with multiple work groups to accomplish station goals

Assisted in current catalyst research in the lab of Dr. Raymond Gorte. Operated a gas chromatograph and analyzed resulting spectra to determine catalytic effectiveness. Trained in X-ray diffraction methods and other surface measurement techniques.
