Endpoint Engineer Ii
Current• Design, implement and support (hardware, software, and cloud services) all corporate endpoint devices via United Endpoint Management (UEM) platforms.• Manage and automate/enhance endpoint enrollment, licensing and auditing processes.• Provide problem diagnosis and resolutions for the UEM cloud environment and enrolled devices• Systems Administration and maintenance of the UEM/MDM platforms (Workspace ONE)• Package, test, and deploy internal and commercial off-the-shelf applications through the enterprise• Automate routine and/or administrative tasks by leveraging APIs and various scripting languages on Apple and Windows devices.• Establish cross-functional relationships with business and technology partners• Lead 3rd party vendor(s) in continuous improvements and implement process efficiencies• Identify and implement industry leading tools, technologies and services to build a secure endpoint management program• Serve as an escalation / subject matter expert of endpoint services to service desk, operations and development teams• Promptly resolve incidents and problems with endpoint services (off hour support is required during critical incidents and deployments)• Enhance user experience with endpoints via automations (zero touch experience)• Proactively identify and remediate vulnerabilities on endpoints to minimize risks• Implement security controls in alignment with the risk management and governance programs.• Mitigate policy compliance violations such as geo-fencing, restricted applications, etc.• Generate a variety of reports (operational insights, monthly KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, etc), that provide key insights and compliance data to stakeholders and senior management.• Identify improvement opportunities, present to senior management and implement to help improve user experiences and satisfaction.• Assist and collaborate with other endpoint management functions such as Asset Management.
