My motivation is very much tied to what cool thing I get to build rather than job titles.I still love coding, especially if it involves learning something new, but I feel I have more to offer dealing with the ‘big picture’ questions. My experience in working in organisations of all stages and sizes gives me an insight and understanding of business requirements which many developers lack.I also really enjoy mentoring, guiding others away from them many mistakes I have made.So I am looking for roles that incorporate some of this ‘big picture’ planning and mentoring.In larger organisations this would be called a Solution Architect, in small companies it would probably be titled Senior Developer or Team Lead.I am based in Chelmsford, Essex. I would prefer a role with at least some flexibility on remote working. I can commute into London if required.
