I taught English full time at a high school. I created a curriculum tailored to the specific needs of the school and classes. I taught all grade levels at the school. I also helped write and review questions for the schools entrance exams.- Started the schools first English language club. The club received the Principal's Special award for its presentation at the school festival.- Tutored a student for the All Nagano High School Speech Recitation Contest who won third place.

I co-founded Cobalt Flux, a manufacturer of dance platforms for PlayStation and Xbox, with a group of friends directly out of high school. I helped drive the company from a garage start-up to shipping over $10 million in products over the life of the company. I was technical lead for the product, managing the design of the electronics and other technical aspects of the product.- Named as an inventor on the patent on the company's flagship product (dance platform). The product was featured in Wired Magazine - Coolest Christmas Gifts 2004 and within its niche market became known as the best dance platform available for the home.- Designed and managed development of a dance game system which included multiple software titles and hardware components. The system became 30% of company sales in the first year of release and it was nominated for Best Commercial Exergame 2010 in the Exergame Network Awards.
