An entrepreneur at heart, I’ve owned two businesses. My first business, BH Woodworking, was a small custom cabinet shop that specialized in designing, building, finishing and installing custom residential cabinetry. I ran this business for over 20 years. Over the years, I was very fortunate to have worked some great customers, designers and contractors. We built some really great projects! While running this business, though, I often found myself wanting a better way of organizing my active jobs and the way in which I scheduled my jobs. I excelled at woodworking but frankly lacked in management and organization skills. So out of this need and while running my cabinet company, I came up with my next business… Cabinetshop Maestro, LLC.At Cabinetshop Maestro we have built exactly what I needed to run my own cabinet shop more efficiently. We developed a web-based day-to-day project management system designed specifically for custom cabinet businesses. It’s been a great way to take what I learned from my own business and turn it into a solution to help other cabinet shops. I’ve since closed BH Wodoworking (Apr 2019) and have moved full-time into my role at Cabinetshop Maestro. We have made great strides from it’s humble beginning to now becoming a full-featured and essential tool for our customers. We continue to be dedicated to improve our system to help cabinet shops run their business more efficiently. We are grateful for our past experience with BH Woodworking, and all the great people we worked with and the lessons that business has taught us. And at Cabinetshop Maestro, we eagerly continue our journey and look forward to continued alignment with our customer’s business goals and objectives.
