Upgrading IOS software for Tellabs 8813 series switches. ~ The base image on the boxes were not compatible with the requests of the customers and needed to be upgraded to a newer version prior to being configured.Configuration of layer 2 OSI protocol and deployment of switches to commercial customers. ~ Configurations for P2P or internet access per customer requests. I was responsible for installing hardware and associated fiber optics and setting up the management parameters including predetermined Vlan and IP address.
