Brian’s next move is to bring the course to others at OSU to make sure that the whole IT organization can take advantage of the continual improvements that can be enabled by Lean IT. Brian’s leadership also gained OSU the Pink Elephant Project of the Year Award in 2011. Again, thanks to Brian’s leadership the program had been successful at laying strong groundwork for the OSU effort. The CIO and her Directors were in complete support but it is Brian who, in many ways, made the rubber meet the road – and he did so successfully.
