I'm working with other engineering leaders to build an org that will rewrite major portions of Celonis' customer facing applications.

I managed 2 teams spanning 20 SWEs, 2 SWE managers, and 3 Google Ads products. I’ve hired 18 external candidates and 9 transfers.Performance Planner (Since 3/2016)Product: Forecast-powered tool that allows advertisers, agencies, and Google sellers to plan the budgets of performance-oriented campaigns for upcoming time periods.My Role: FE eng lead installed when my director conceived the project. Built the team from scratch to 14 SWE, developing 2 managers and 1 TL. Due to PM transitions, authored the foundational PRD. Wrote core eng designs, setting technical direction for the team before handing off technical and day-to-day responsibilities to TLs.Campaign Translator (Since 7/2014)Product: Internal tool for sellers to translate their customer’s campaigns, enabling expansion to new markets or reaching users who don’t speak the dominant language (e.g. Spanish in Los Angeles). The tool is powered by machine and human translation.My Role: Based on a sales-team request that my VP asked me to investigate, I conceived, pitched, designed, and built this tool. I built relationships with the translation teams and partnered closely with our international growth sales teams. I supported this team through ups and downs in active development and grew a senior IC into the TL. I secured OPEX for and built a user support process.Keyword Planner (Since 1/2020)Product: Provides keyword suggestions, search volume, and forecasts to help customers build new search campaigns and increase traffic on existing campaigns.My Role: I took over management of this team because of its similar customer base as Performance Planner. I developed the team's long tenured TL into manager, allowing me to focus on higher level strategy.Other Contributions● (7/2010-1/2012) SWE on Keyword Planner, Placement Tool, and Traffic Estimator● (2/2012-6/2014) TL for an Experimental Search Campaign Construction Flow● (4/2012-5/2019) LA SWE Hiring Committee member. I was a Software Engineer Intern working on the AdSense for Domains team at the Google office in Santa Monica, CA.

I worked on dynamic web development projects for the Admissions Office. Tasks included a student nomination form/database and templating using server side includes. I also served as a consultant for ADA compatibility and accessible web design.

As a school service/volunteer project I was the webmaster of my high school’s website for the duration of my four years at Agoura High. Upon graduation, the administration hired me to continue maintaining the school’s site.
