Senior developer on an agile scrum team that used TDD to deliver the key customer-facing experience of John Deere's FarmSight strategy. We took a mobile-first approach to user experience and exposed functionality via a REST API. We delivered quality software to customers on a weekly basis.As a senior developer, my primary focus was REST APIs (including HATEOAS and using OAuth for authorization), continuous delivery, and making teammates more effective.I was a primary contact for other teams using our API and help set usage and delivery standards. I paired with developers to help solve problems and write example code to make concepts more concrete.I created a virtualized infrastructure that allows developers to recreate Deere’s production stack on their development machines. This improves quality through more realistic local testing and allowing the team to understand how our code reacts when infrastructure is unavailable.
