Developed all JSP Pages, all Java Middleware components, and all Oracle Views, Procedures and functions for the FGR Manager Application. Led the design of all FGR Manager database tables. Created a custom web and database access application framework that greatly reduced development time of this application. Designed and implemented a flexible system that allowed the development of new features for this application to occur in the database!For the VWR CrossPlus Application, designed and coded 15 screens and the underlying controller and data model functionality allowing users to add, modify and delete 6 different entities. Created, modified and tuned Oracle procedures and functions needed for application functionality, including a very complete dynamically generated query full of joins and where clauses. Assisted other developers in completing their design and coding. Learned and used Struts Application Framework.

Crafted from scratch a complete 35+ page Web Application built upon Java, JSP and Servlets tied to an Oracle Database and featuring dynamic report generation, configurable and user-based presentation, full custom-built application security, moderately complex dynamic HTML with JavaScript, heavy use of CSS and extensive use of Oracle PL/SQL functions and procedures. Solely responsible for all application design, architecture, development and deployment as well as designing and creating most database tables, and indexes, and building all views, functions, procedures and triggers.Built solid Java utility classes that simplify data-driven JSP development, assist in processing web requests and enable database connection pooling.Re-engineered a server side communication interface from an unscalable, platform-dependent Visual Basic and flatfile application into a Perl, DBI and Oracle Application. Incorporated solid application design, modem communication with timeouts and retry logic and interaction with an Oracle Database to create this robust, fault-tolerant communication interface. Also, developed a JSP and Java Servlet 15+ page Device Configuration Web Application.Created a Report Generation System that generates both HTML reports (by issuing HTTP requests against the aforementioned Reporting Web Application) and Comma-Separated Value reports and emails them to customers based on a schedule or by batch.Carried a simple Visual Basic customer information application from infancy to maturity and added a Customer Payment System that tracks and manages payment of customers based on varied rates, periodic service fees, and numerous transactions (100-1000 per day per customer).
