Using Agile methodology, assisting with the creation of client-facing documentation for new Exposure aggregation system (Xuber Xposure)

Business analysis within Finance, Claims, Underwriting and ECommerce areas.Recent highlights:- ELTO, Created BRD to develop an automated solution for sending both Open Market and Delegated Authority EL policies in to the ELD. Was also an active member of ELTO's Technology Working Group.- Designed mechanism to give Credit Controllers the facility for creating automated Agent Statements with no need for any further IT development. Initially, this solution replaced manual creation of 14 Agent Statements. Since implemented the business has now expanded this to automatically produce over 100 each month.- Designed processes to automate the reconciliation of remittance advices received from Agents.- Defined requirements to improve automatic controls between General Ledger and Data Warehouse. - Defined requirements for incorporating Property Claims documents within document imaging system (Swordfish).- Designed a generic solution for automating the processing of supplier invoices. Initially introduced for a single supplier - several more have been added with very little IT involvement required for each.- Created Business Requirements for automating the processing of Motor Repairer invoices received from Repairers. This involved the design of XML schemas to be used by the 3rd party and also utilised an Enterprise Service Bus. The design was built in such a way that many other suppliers have since been added with no need for IT involvement.

Performed main feasibility analysis for creating a solution that allowed full-cycle processing via extranet system. Redesigned Property Owners extranet product resulting in a 60% increase of use.

Working mainly in the London Market.Non-Marine, Marine, Aviation Treaty underwriting and claims. Also worked on finance/reinsurance systems.Major highlights:- Systems design, data analysis and specification of London Insurance Network Claims System (LINCS). This development employed structured analysis and design techniques and followed the Systems Engineering methodology supported by CASE tools. During the development phase I also performed a team-leading role, controlling a team of up to five programmers.- Systems design, data analysis and specification (including test cases) of the Forum House Management Information system (FHMI). This system covered seven lines of business and included both underwriting and claims information. It provided the business with the ability to produce the majority of their own MI reports, without the need for IT involvement.- Introduction of IPT within all London Market systems, liaising with HM Customs & Excise. In addition to the analysis and specification I also produced the initial Project Plan.
