I work in the corporate division of our Global Human Resource team. I assist work closely with Benefit Administration, FMLA & Leave Administration for all domestic firms, COBRA, and Safety Committees and Initiatives.

I am the Primary HR contact for the local St. Louis market while also managing the business office, local payroll, and working closely with the Regional Controller on month end, budgets and forecasting.

I was the Office Manager and Senior Benefit Specialist of Ming Senior Services. As the Office Manager, I handled the recruitment, selection and hiring of new employees, managed employee records and files, updated weekly and monthly sales reports, conflict resolution, privacy and compliance (HIPAA), and direct supervisor to staff. As a Senior Benefit Specialist, I was an advocate/representative of our senior clients. I helped them understand their plan benefits, assisted them with denials and appeals, prescription coverage issues, and billing problems, and helped them find financial assistance programs and grants for their medications. I worked on their behalf to solve billing issues with local healthcare groups as well.

At Rehabcare, my position required I manage the office and files. I would print therapy records to file in patient charts, enter payroll and hours in the company system, file monthly reports, get therapy notes to insurance carriers when requested, scheduled therapists to meet the therapy demands of the patients, and anything else I could do to keep the therapy department running as smoothly as possible.
