- Thesis on temperature and heat flow correlations with the updip limit of seismicity on the Central American subduction zone offshore Costa Rica. Generated, interpreted, conducted sensitivity analyses, and analyzed thermal models to fit heat flow data collected on the International Ocean Drilling Program (IODP). Published findings in Geology, Geochemistry, and Geophysics (AGU Journal). - Analyzed seismic reflection data offshore Chile to research tectonic constraints on the submarine axial channel as part of the Chile Earthquake: Project Evaluating Prism Post-Earthquake Response (ChilePEPPER) project assessing post-seismic response after the Mw 8.8 2010 Maule, Chile Earthquake. - Performed field work on Ocean-Bottom Seismometer research cruises offshore Chile and California/Oregon. Consulted for Right on Q, LLC and Fugro Geoconsulting on international offshore petroleum exploration expeditions. Acquired, processed, and analyzed heat flow data. - Taught introductory and upper level undergraduate laboratory courses in geology, geophysics, and atmospheric science.
