I ran a community engagement program in regional Victoria, managing a team of six casual staff.

I reported on local and portfolio media each day, handled media enquiries and drafted statements on key local and portfolio-related issues. I conducted policy research as required and liaised with various parliamentary offices.

I won my party’s preselection, then developed, executed and resourced my campaign, working full-time in a voluntary capacity as an endorsed candidate at the 2022 Victorian election.My duties included policy development, research and writing external communications.I undertook campaign development, grassroots campaigning, media engagement, fundraising, advertising, and volunteer and staff recruitment and management as the chief operator of my local campaign, working within the organisation of the state party campaign.

I developed and implemented the not-for-profit organisation’s key objectives, engaged with members and stakeholders and was the primary public spokesperson of the organisation, reporting to the Committee of Management.I led the development of a landmark report into the organisation’s key policy objective and lobbied representatives from all levels of government across the political spectrum for change ahead of a state and federal election year.I developed the organisation’s membership base and stakeholder relationships through regular consultation and engagement.

I assisted the company to expand into new public sector markets, engaged with industry peak body representatives to contribute to national policy formation in health and industrial relations, and promoted the company’s key achievements through industry awards.

I supported the Senator to handle local issues, stakeholder relations and media announcements.I managed correspondence and liaised with government offices and departments to provide assistance to community members on behalf of the Senator.I trained and supported junior team members in their community engagement roles.

I assisted the Director in developing and executing clients’ corporate communications and engagement strategies.I wrote a corporate communications and engagement strategy for an ASX-listed property development company and assisted them in managing their social media, internal communications and community engagement activities.

I assisted the Director in building relationships with federal government representatives on behalf of clients in the health and defence industry sectors.I coordinated community events with parliamentarians in their electorates to strengthen client-government relationships and build community capital for representatives.

I guided the development of the National Action Plan for Endometriosis 2018 through stakeholder management, policy advice and media support.I provided ministerial policy advice, managed stakeholder relationships and was the ministerial liaison for parliamentarians and bureaucrats. I managed incoming phone calls to the office and the Chief of Staff’s diary.

I assisted with office administrative tasks and community correspondence.I represented community concerns to local, state and federal government authorities to arrange assistance, advice and responses to enquiries.
