DaF teacher at a school in the Namibian bush. Okombahe is about 70 km from Omaruru, the nearest town. The boarding school struggled with many challenges. I took over the German lessons as well as the physical education, established a German club and afternoon activities for the children. I also established a "Christmas in October" event and supported the establishment of a new German classroom. I also supervised students as coach in their process of winning a trip to Germany, made possible by the Goethe Institute.
