I worked independently in the Besson Chemistry Lab on the creation and testing of single molecule devices for quantum computing applications, which is used to design quantum bits in conventional computers.

I assisted nurses and psychologists in helping patients with an IQ lower than 70 and with severe mental disorders. I routinely took patient vital signs, assisted nurses with any injuries, and taught patients about sexual health.

I learned the fundamentals of clinical research methods, design, and analysis related to emergency medicine. I worked alongside a research assistant at the GW hospital to organize and collect surveys from patients.

I designed and implemented a study researching triggers used by pediatricians to test for hypothyroidism in patients compared to runners and to see how prevalent pediatricians estimate hypothyroidism is in pediatric population. I presented at the Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine for Primary Care Clinician 2019 Conference in Orlando, Florida.
