PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO MEMBERS AND/OR PROVIDERS REGARDING WEBSITE REGISTRATION AND NAVIGATION • DOCUMENT ALL ACTIVITIES FOR QUALITY AND METRICS REPORTING THROUGH THE CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (CRM) APPLICATION• PROCESS WRITTEN CUSTOMER CORRESPONDENCE AND PROVIDE THE APPROPRIATE LEVEL OF TIMELY FOLLOW UP• MAY COORDINATE MEMBER TRANSPORTATION AND MAKE REFERRALS TO OTHER DEPARTMENTS AS APPROPRIATE• MAINTAIN PERFORMANCE AND QUALITY STANDARDS BASED ON ESTABLISHED CALL CENTER METRICS INCLUDING TURN-AROUND TIMES

The Patient Access Representative 1 (PAR1) is responsible for accurately registering inpatients, outpatients, and/or ER patients in the EMR, including validating patient information, verification of insurance coverage, calculation of and collection of patient co-insurance/deductibles/co-pays, authorization for services, and balancing of cash. The PAR1 ensures the patient's experience is best in class and demonstrates effective communication skills with patients and families, physicians, nurses, and insurance companies. The PAR1 is knowledgeable of and compliant with federal and state regulations related to acute-care patient registration

• Check patients in • Register new patients • Call and remind patients of follow-up appointments • Enter insurance information for patients • Call insurance companies and place claims• Triage- take blood pressure, temperature, height, pulse, weight• File patient folders• Patient referrals• Answer telephone • Fax medical records to appropriate companies

• Provide nursing assistance on Unit floors • Take and chart vital signs including blood pressure, temperature and respirations. • Collaborate effectively with nursing team to carry out doctor’s orders and treatments • Help residents with daily activities such as meals, hygiene and dressing Adhere to all safety guidelines, nursing home protocols and regulations

• Acknowledge and greet customers with a smile• Answer customer questions• Help customers find the products they are looking for• Assist fellow associates as needed throughout the store• Keep your area stocked, clean, and safe
