Responsible for 12 hospitals lung cancer screening programs within the ARH system. Schedule all patients receiving lung cancer screening to ensure best practices are met or exceeded. Serve as a resource for referring clinicians and their support staff. Facilitate between the referring clinicians and the multi-disciplinary teams to ensure timely reporting of findings and to coordinate scheduling of additional services is met. Responsible for registry data entry and compliance. Present appropriate patients at the tumor board multi-disciplinary conferences and ensure proper communication of recommendations to referring providers. Build partnerships with local agencies and groups for community referrals and outreach. Plan and participate in community educational events and health fairs to educate individuals on the importance of screening and early prevention of all cancers. Responsible for attending Cancer on Commission quarterly meetings and reporting on standards to meet the COC accreditation.
