I have lived in Sacramento since 2017. I attended Winston Salem State University from 2007-2011 where I studied Mass Communications with a concentration in Journalism/Public Relations. My professional background is grounded in customer service and has expanded to knowledge in many areas with my most recent tenured expansion of a decade long stint in Property Management acquiring and maintaining positions from Leasing to Regional Portfolio Management in both the affordable and conventional housing markets in NC,SC, and Northern California. I started my career in property management as a desire and need to be there for at the time my 2 smaller children.As with anything else that I choose to do or chooses me I not only acquired skills and resources beneficial to my professional growth within the field but personal as well. In the time of my starting the career that chose me my daughter, then just over 1 , and I were struggling with management of her Epilepsy diagnosis. I chose what I felt for over a decade a career that allowed me to be there for my now 4 children ages 10,8,5,and 2 . Now I am choosing to be intentional behind a dream that will sustain many generations to come not just within my family but for so many more start ups, small businesses, brands,and communities.
