As Claims Supervisor my responsibilites were to oversee the KSBA liability unit, AIK Comp Unit, Akebono Brake Corporation Unit and Berea College Unit. In this position I would monitor the adjusters handling of Workers Compensation, Liability, Property, Auto Fleet, Auto Liability, General Liability and Employers Legal Liability claims. Monitor excess files as per reporting requirements, request excess recovery as required, Monitor subrogation files to assist in recovery. Provide support to adjuster concerning any adjusting issues/questions. Post reserves above adjusters authority. Provide information to the account managers as needed/warranted. Additional to make sure that all Client Instructions are being handled appropriately.

As a claims representative I acted as a liaison between the claims adjustment firm for both the corporate and franchise clients of Papa John’s. I performed the following duties for General Liability, Auto Coverage’s all lines, Employers Legal Liability, EEOC, Property, Workers Compensation: monitor millions of dollars in reserves , assist in closing claims, monitor and control the litigation files and database, handle monthly management of claims pending in subrogation and pending claims for both franchise and corporate clients, provide information to the Directors and Vice President of Risk Management concerning policy coverage and financial reporting which was used to calculate IBNR and was provided to the actuarial, Provided support to the legal department concerning litigation claims. I would assist the underwriters at Papa John’s in gathering and analyzing the data for potential new business. Additionally 2 ½ employees would report to me on a daily basis with their day to day activities in the claims department of Papa John’s. To handle the above I exemplified superior customer service skills, team-work and leadership in my daily work habits.
