The goal of Alabama Space Grant Consortium and NASA EPSCoR is to promote STEM in underrepresented minorities and provide research funding for faculty members. To assist in these efforts, I manage all aspects of Alabama EPSCoR and Space Grant's proposal submissions and post-award actions using NASA NSPIRES and Kuali. I build proposal and subcontract budgets, issue and monitor prime and subcontract awards and accounts, and complete quarterly and annual NASA deliverables. I conduct the lobbying efforts for Alabama Space Grant and NASA EPSCoR at the state and federal level. I also organize and plan statewide workshops and events with students and campus directors, train and oversee new employees, manage social media accounts, and coordinate the needs of students, faculty, industry, and government partners.

I assisted in pre-award and post-award actions such as submitting proposals, building budgets, and updating university databases as award modifications surface. I worked closely with professors/staff to maintain award accounts to ensure funds were spent per contractual guidelines and within university policy.

I administered purchase orders and negotiated prices/terms and conditions in compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations. I served as the main point of contact for the MITS II Program Support Office and as a liaison in interactions with internal NASA departments, subcontractors, and vendors/suppliers. I assisted in ensuring all policies and procedures were understood and followed by the entire contract. I was also the Assistant Building Manager and helped with work orders, building inspections, and complaints to ensure NASA safety protocols were followed.

I drafted, reviewed, and edited discovery documents to assist attorneys in case preparation. I assisted in marketing efforts by planning firm-wide events, such as company picnics and holiday parties. I regularly communicated with clients to discuss details of cases and maintained calendars for multiple attorneys to ensure positive customer relationships.

I recorded distance learning classes for online students in the Industrial Systems Engineering and Engineering Management department and assisted faculty and staff troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
