Provide support to the valuations division in a managerial capacity while performing valuations projects across a range of industries, assist with the growth of the business unit in SA and WA, assist with technical guidance and compliance, mentoring to junior staff, client retention and attraction.

The primary purpose of my role is to provide effective leadership and management of a team in the delivery of confidential and politically sensitive expert valuation advice and services on behalf of the Valuer-General. This includes determining and prioritising strategies, allocating resources, stakeholder management and engagement, oversight and provision of complex valuation advice and reports, and managing effective workflows and outputs of the Advisory team. Leadership and Management: Lead and strategically manage the provision of quality, timely, relevant and accurate specialist valuation advice and services for government projects necessitating acquisition or disposal of real property assets including overseeing and providing complex valuation advice and reports, and managing effective workflows and associated outputs of the Advisory team. Procurement and Quality Assurance: ensuring the effective delivery of quality specialist valuation advice and services to stakeholders on behalf of the Valuer-General, including management of the appropriate contractual and procurement processes. Financial Management: managing the financial and budgeting operations of the Advisory team to maintain and ensure business viability. Business Development: ensure the effective marketing of the Advisory Valuation Services operations on a commercial basis by strategically leading, planning, and developing business strategies, critical programs and processes to expand and deliver specialist valuation services across government in order to grow the business. Stakeholder Engagement: Establish, develop and maintain effective stakeholder management and communication strategies by effectively engaging and collaborating with clients, Statutory, Government and industry groups including the provision of critical, sensitive and/or complex information and consultation processes.

Brooke joined the AVS team in March 2015 undertaking national portfolios of broad valuation work profiles together with national tendering, client relationship and project management roles. Her focus in joining AVS had been on South Australia where she has project managed and delivered significant government portfolios in the areas of health, disability, rehabilitation, justice together with sport and recreation.Brooke excels in marketing, client relationship engagement and national tendering which has been recognised by AVS brand recognition, client provider of choice, quality references and growth in business together with continued repeat business.Brooke has strong leadership and public speaking skills being the immediate past President of the Australian Property Institute (SA Division & NT Group). She is well known in the SA and NT property community and has provided strong representation on the South Australian Integrated Land Information Service (SAILIS) consultative body and also on the Stakeholder Reference Group for the Land Services Commercialisation Project.

Brooke joined m3property in April 2014 as a Senior Valuer and undertook national tendering, project management and leadership, together with high profile complex valuations within Adelaide, Canberra and Darwin.

Brooke was employed as a Senior Valuer undertaking valuations of in a broad range of property sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, retail, rural living, agricultural enterprise and institutional assets. Brooke has had experience in a range of valuation purposes including asset test, statutory rating and taxing assessments, acquisition and compensation, financial reporting, rental determination of public and privately owned assets on behalf of government departments and enterprises within South Australia, Northern Territory and Australian Capital Territory.Whilst employed at the Australian Valuation Office (AVO) Brooke was the National Client Relationship Manager Defence Housing Australia (DHA) of a national client. Brooke was responsible for the successful coordination of servicing, tendering, KPI management, quality assurance nationally for the client and was commended for her management and customer delivery focus by both AVO and DHA.Brooke also undertook mentor roles within the AVO and the University of South Australia providing national training, presentations and support to Valuers and students.

Brooke was employed on a term contact as a Rating and Taxing Valuer within the City of Adelaide undertaking valuation and rental determinations on a broad range of property sectors including residential, industrial, major development sites, commercial and retail incorporating the major CBD and North Adelaide retail precincts. Brooke also undertook customer liaison and policy development roles to resolve disputes and provide property and rateability advice.

Brooke was employed as a Valuer undertaking residential and commercial valuations predominantly for mortgage security purposes, the South Australian Housing Trust and matrimonial settlement within the City of Adelaide and metropolitan areas.

Brooke was employed as a Valuation Assistant and Market Research Analyst whilst completing her degree. Upon completion of her Bachelor of Business (Property) Brooke began undertaking predominantly residential property valuations for mortgage security purposes throughout the City of Adelaide and all metropolitan areas.
