Bruce is an innovator and disrupter with experience developing businesses from the ground up, managing short and long term projects, and reshaping supply chains to solve daunting challenges and achieve ‘the impossible.’Most recently Bruce managed the acquisition of a chemical distribution business unit for Nisso America. As a result, the company was able to increase turnover while the manufacturer was able to gain additional market share, year over year. Bruce joined Nisso America Inc. in November 2018 as Deputy Director of Specialty Chemicals. He ran the day-to-day operations of four business units, while simultaneously planning the long-term growth of each product. His fields of expertise are adhesives, synthetic polymers, hazardous materials, and thermal imaging. Prior to joining Nisso, Bruce was Key Account and Marketing Manager at Showa Denko. During his tenure at Showa Denko, Bruce engineered the company’s development of a bulk hazmat distribution plan, that resulted in more than a 2500% growth in sales of a single product over 4 years. His other major business unit enjoyed growth of 8-12% annually, due to the construction of new marketing channels and sheer hard work. A graduate of SUNY Oswego, Bruce began his career at Future Digital Scientific. He would later bring his innovative and creative problem-solving skills to larger scope projects. He also worked in digital marketing and web design as a freelancer. Beyond his business success, Bruce believes in a principled approach when addressing challenges and opportunities. A strong advocate in Kaizen, Bruce is always working to improve all aspects of the businesses he is involved in. Creative and non-linear thinking are common elements to his biggest business and personal accomplishments.
