Joined rig during repair and modifications for Gulf of Mexico loop currents.Major shipyard in 2000-2001 in preparation to going to Egypt for contract. Carried out several modifications and additions during operations including evaluation and correction to Drilling PLC program. Installation and integration of Power Factor Correction system. We worked in Egypt, Israel, Tunisia, Libya, Mauritania, E.G., and Ghana.Completed another shipyard in 2014.

Rig electrician from 1975 to 1987 with ODECO. Electrical Supervisor OCECO from 1987 to 1992. As electrical supervisor I managed electricians. electrical maintenance, and electrical equipment for day to day and special projects for from 6 to 16 offshore rigs. Member of team that inspected and evaluated several rigs before purchase by ODECO. Worked Gulf and world wide.1992 to 1999 after ODECO merged with Diamond M and ultimately became Diamond Offshore. Warehouse Rig Equipment Supervisor in charge to arrange repairs, certifications, supplies, and transportation of equipment for 8 working offshore rigs. Later Electrical Equipment Supervisor for all Diamond Offshore rigs. Transferred to Houston as Electrical Supervisor in charge of electrical inspections, special projects, and supervision of 6 to 12 working rigs. Left after nearly 25 years.

Within two weeks after being hired was directing electricians in installation of wiring and equipment on offshore support vessels. Installing and evaluating controls and navigation. Suggesting and implementing changes in prints when needed. After one year switched to yard and office maintenance. Initialized and put together a badly needed preventative maintenance system. System included fabrication shop equipment and overhead cranes; 150 ton DC crane; automated welding machines; offices and air conditioning; and evaluations of main and auxiliary yards compliance with OSHA regulations.
