I was required to work closely with the Qantas business lead, but because Qantas has contracted its project management out the role of Qantas reverted to primarily the sponsor of the project, usually the business manager while the integrator of the project was myself or the other service providers, depending where the main service thrust of the projects were Desktop and LAN Management. Fujitsu was responsible for the Desktop services which included the WAN requirements to the Switch. Roles included:Writing up the SOW which required; - Meeting with the customer to establish the requirements of the project - Meeting with identified parties and service providers for identifying work requirements for the project and the costing thereof - Identifying initial risks and dependencies - Costing the requirements, such as equipment, Labour, property, time etc. - Identifying project Change Control constraintsRolling the project once SOW approved, which included; - Meetings (both progress and Integration) - Asset Management - Change control - Budget control - Time managementIBM – Organising the provision on Customer network accesses to corporate applications including working with the IBM Project manager on: - Firewalls - Permissions for access management - Server access management (both physical and virtual) and required applications for Cloud Technology and transitioning services to cloud environmentsTelstra – Organising the provision on Customer Transformations, WAN accesses across the Corporation sites in Australia and Overseas including working with the Telstra Project manager on: - Cloud Technology and transitioning services to cloud environments - Firewalls - Permissions for access management - Provision of Voice Services - Provision of WAN services – Including Wireless Networking Show less

Whilst I did not actually do the “Property” or corporate “Applications” components of this project, I was required to provide the WAN, LAN and Desktop components which initially required close cooperation with Qantas Property - Administration of project for multiple sites around Australia- Establishing WAN Network Links to the various sites to design.- Working with design team and implementation Towers- Establish Desktops and printers (Specialised Ticket and Boarding pass)- WAN and LAN capability and Voice Design and implementation of these services- Change management- Software Licencing was not included because JetStar was to cut away from Qantas. Westpac Bank (Sub Component 2M+) – Due to the closure of the Data Centre in Clarence street in Sydney, I was required to manage the relocation of the Westpac WAN / LAN and servers from Clarence Street to Darling Street Data Centre in Sydney. It required that we set up a new Data Centre from scratch.Commonwealth Bank (Sub Component $750K) – Transition program. I worked under the Director of the program and managed all the Transitions Teams Relocation to a Telstra Building as well as the WAN an LAN Transformations and cuts to the new location. Telstra (Property Sub Component $5M) – Property Refurbishment of 231 Elizabeth Street and 320 Pitt Street. Show less
