Working Manager• Responsible for the repair and maintenance for 250 pieces of equipment. This was in conjunction with 2 other qualified technicians and an administrative assistant.• Prepared weekly and monthly reports for Harvard Department Heads, the Facilities Director & ABM Regional Manager. These reports would include, work that could not be completed do to parts no longer availabe, construction, or delay in receiving parts. Also repairs that may appear as duplicate work, operator misuse or abuse. Scheduled training for operators that the issues listed above would be corrected.• Communicated with Department Heads about needs, repairs, and completed work.• Tracked completion of repairs and justification of repairs taking more than 2 days.• Worked with administrative assistant and 2 other technicians completing any tasks that were assigned. Tracked any long term repairs that were waiting on parts to be manufactured & shipped.• Worked with building facilities personnel to help resolve issues and make repairs.

Coordinated communication between vendors, and departments SPD and Surgeryfor materials, parts needed that were not OEM specific. Assisted in the repair ofBiomed equipment when my assigned work was completed. SPD sterilizers wereGetinge and included steam and ethylene oxide with disposers, gaschromatographs. Surgery department had AMSCO tables and sterilizers andSkytron surgery lights.Started work at 3:30 A.M. to be able to address any equipment issues before thesurgery department became too busy to access and repair. Responsible forsurgery tables, lights, scrub sinks, blanket warmers, sterilizers, washers, soniccleaners.Assisted with the selection of equipment for the Sterile Processing and Distributiondepartment. Installed the steam regulator and distribution systems for thesterilizers in the same department. Installed and corrected DI system and piping towashers. Repaired and maintained the conveyor system for loading and unloadingthe washers.Performed duties of a maintenance mechanic and handled all aspects of buildingrepair as the hospital did not have assigned electricians, plumbers, boileroperators, switchgear and generator, chillers.
