I am currently Product Manager for a system to perform epidemiological surveillance circuits and control of healthcare-associated infections (HEPIC). I also support all HEPIC system implementations’ team, in Portugal and Brazil, support and maintain current reports in JasperReports and test and debugg Oracle PL/SQL packages.

I was Project Manager for implementation of a system to perform epidemiological surveillance circuits and control of healthcare-associated infections (HEPIC). Along with all the management tasks I also executed activities as Integration Developer: as PL/SQL Developer I developed Oracle procedures and functions to integrate data from laboratory systems, hospital information systems and pharmacy systems into HEPIC system; as T-SQL Developer I developed procedures to transform laboratory results data into our system format; also developed ETL processes with Talend to extract, transform and load data from hospital historical data into our system. Developed reports with JasperReports (Jaspertserver) with Oracle Database.

As database architect I developed and maintained a system for management of epidemiological surveillance circuits and control of healthcare-associated infections (HEPIC) using Java with Oracle and Flex. The iBATIS was used as object-relational mapping (ORM). This system was commercialized in Portugal and Brazil. In Brazil this system was the main product in implementation on seventy hospitals of Minas Gerais State, four in São Paulo State, four in Rio de Janeiro State, one in Espirito Santo State, one in Goiás State and one in Mato Grosso State.I developed Oracle functions and procedures to integrate data from other hospital systems into HEPIC system.All reports were developed in JasperReports (JasperServer) using basic and advanced SQL. Developed ELT processes using Talend to integrate information from HEPIC system into SMS hospitals service and into hospital information system, and consolidate monthly indicators from hospital information system into HEPIC system.I coordinated the development work of a team with three programmers.

I was member of a team that developed a solution for hotel management using C# with Oracle. In this project, the NHibernate was used as object-relational mapping (ORM).I developed one software module specialized for the management of hotel units such as condominiums, multi-property and time-share resorts, using C# with Oracle. In this project, the NHibernate has been used as the ORM. I also developed Oracle PL/SQL packages for integration between systems. All reports were developed using Crystal Reports.

As a database architect, I developed and maintained a desktop employee scheduling system using VB.NET with SQL Server. This system was used to solve medical doctor’s scheduling problems caused by complex scheduling rules in the radiologic department of Coimbra University Hospital, in Portugal. Crystal Reports was used to develop the scheduling reports that the system generated in Excel file format, to meet the client requirements.As part of a team I developed a clinical-administrative management system for medical clinics using VB.NET with SQL Server and was the developer responsible for the development of the audio transcription module using Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for the Microsoft Office System. Crystal Reports was used to develop the reports.

As a team member I developed an ERP (Enterprise resource planning) using Visual Basic with SQL Server. This ERP has been commercialized in more than six Brazilian states. For ERP product I also developed reports using Crystal Reports (SQL Server database).Also as a team member I developed and maintained a Human Resources Management System using Visual Basic with SQL Server. This system was commercialized to manage more than 500 employees.

I developed and maintained the institutional website using HTML, Javascript and CSS.

I developed a desktop application using Microsoft Access for point of sale (POS). The application was installed and used in six of the companies network of stores.
