Acted as lead researcher with full autonomy over the project's direction and implementation.𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀• Applied Python for machine learning and deep learning tasks, focusing on turbulence modeling in computational fluid dynamics.• Utilized C++ to develop fluid simulations in OpenFOAM, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical coding.• Calculated an anisotropy term to be injected into the discretized Navier-Stokes equations, achieving a RANS velocity profile that perfectly matched the DNS one — state-of-the-art in the field.

Managed a team of 40 engineering students with the aim of manufacturing GP21, while taking 66 ECTS over the course of an academic year. The role required me to be in constant contact with several people, such as partners, suppliers, team members, and teachers, to assure all needs were met. In its first three races, GP21 achieved a 7th and two 3rd places, the best results in PSEM’s history to date.𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿• Assured good relations with existing sponsors and established new partnerships with national and international companies.𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿• Guaranteed that the team’s financial assets were managed in a sustainable way while allowing each dpt. to meet its needs.𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿• Planned the general goals of the project and respective deadlines, while discussing with all dpt. leaders their respective deadlines and adjusting as deemed necessary.𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿• Made sure all parts needed were delivered on a reasonable timeline. Managed a team of 4, working to improve the efficiency of the previous designs, both the bodywork and the cooling system. Post-processed and analyzed multiple simulations with the remaining team members to ensure a good understanding of the phenomena at play.• Set deadlines and managed priorities.• Ensured that best practices were followed.• Performed simple validation and verification exercises.• Designed GP21’s windshield which reduced the drag force by 5%

Worked with the goal of assuring good coordination between the technical departments in the setup of GP21’s manufacture. This phase allowed me to better understand the mechanical components of the prototype and the right way to manufacture them while being exposed to methods like 3D printing, CNC machining, and composite materials.• Project management, on a technical level.• Worked with composites using resign infusion methods (RTI).• Designed the color scheme and livery for GP19 and GP21.

Part of a sub-team of 3, responsible for the research and development of the bodywork for the then-new prototype, GP21. Self-learned plenty of concepts related to CFD and how to implement them on Star CCM+.• Used Siemens NX to perform Surface and Subdivision Modelling.• Used Siemens Star CCM+ to iterate between several designs and testdifferent ideas/concepts.• Wrote Macros to automate the complete CFD workflow, from geometry clean up, and meshing to post-processing
