Lead and execute multiple financial, risk, IT, SOX and internal compliance and operational audits by evaluating the design of internal controls and testing the operational effectiveness of internal controls to ensure key risks are mitigated to an acceptable level in relation to contractual, regulatory, and corporate requirements. Lead and execute internal investigations.Assists with the identification, analysis and assessment of key risks and related critical processes and determining the scope and development of audit work programs with minimal supervision. High-visibility role may include supervising internal and external personnel during audit fieldwork and developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with peers and clients. Possesses extensive knowledge of operational, financial, or technology auditing and/or financial theory, Sarbanes Oxley, regulatory and/or utility concepts and company policies. Provides process or controls consulting services when needed on current or new procedures/systems under development or review.
