I make my art to present an escape into several new worlds. To present the viewer with a vision of what could be in store for humanity several thousand years from now. Every new drawing is used to tell a narrative foreign to those who look upon it, to present them with characters and settings held only in the imagination. To visualize the epics that are held within an idea, that is my goal. The countless stories of television, gaming, cinema, and novels are my inspiration. I find that the mythologies and folklore of lost cultures spur me on to adapt them to a science fiction standpoint. I visualize and reinvent older ideas founded on future technologies.My work is almost entirely digital which partially lends itself to the science fiction theme I’ve developed. My process, from start to finish, utilizes a drawing tablet and several computer-based drawing and painting programs. This allows me to work expressively and naturally at the early stages and tighten closely with clean lines at later stages.At the end of the day, my work is about telling stories. The greatest thing about the mind is its ability to dream and create, and it’s my goal to utilize that visually.
