Assisted Dr. Richard Cobb's graduate student, Adrian Poloni, in gathering data and performing pathological tests on Sierra Nevada tree species to better understand their forest's health. Specifically, trying to better understand the pathogens that attack the roots of trees.

Conducted botanical field surveys on proposed timber units which included identifying every common species in the area, as well as locating and noting rare species to add to the Timber Harvest Plan report.

Collected data on tree growth and mortality in established, permanent plots at HJ Andrews Experimental Forest.
