I handle day to day billings, payroll, scheduling, promotions, and retail operations. I am responsible for the hiring, training, scheduling, and discipline of over 140 student employees that work in the dining hall. Working with so many students, schedules, and other events is often a challenge but I welcome it and enjoy my job!Served as a Customer Service representative on a student panel designed to collect and provide feedback to help better meet needs of both client and student body. Developed a student catering guide for campus organizations. Trained in Food Management (ordering) and Labor Management programs (scheduling), along with many Human Resources type duties. Also trained and well versed in invoicing, billing, accounts payable and cash management. I also take care of all Marketing, promotions and theme dinners for Dining Services. I directed the day to day operations of two separate retail units, one of which I helped implement and get up and running.

Responsible for working with other Sodexo units to reduce the amount of overtime used and to cut unneeded hours to reach their labor budgets. This program was successful but was stopped and given to individual accounts to control.

Became part of the campus dining team, under the direction of the general manager and held responsible for the coordination and hosting of campus dining promotions. I also took over the development of the dining service’s web pages (working with PageWizard) and a majority of marketing, including MyDtxt.

Placed in charge of making sure meals ran smoothly and other workers were following safety rules and guidelines while working. Promoted based on reliability, leadership qualities, communication skills, patience, attitude, and quality of work.

I was part of a nationwide group that focused on dining trends of the present day college student. Also helped plan a nationwide promotions calander and theme.

Led committee meetings for annual campus and community festival; delegated responsibilities planned and managed overall festival attended by approximately 1,000 people.
