Director level real estate development and environmental science professional with over twenty years of experience in the environmental science, and real estate development businesses. Specializing in technical real estate development projects, including environmental assessment / remediation, technical planning and design, environmental entitlements and approvals, and land development with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science (Cal Poly, 2002), and Masters in Business Administration (USF, 2011).In 2017, I joined a team of ten science, engineering, and real estate development professionals to design and develop the first commercial Kelly Slater Wave Company (KSWC) wave generation system and professional surfing venue in California as well as planning and design of future KSWC surfing venue projects globally. Responsible for leading and magning a broad range of responsibilities including pre-development planning / design, environmental entitlements and approvals, construction, facility commissioning, and operations. In parallel with the above responsibilities, I directed all water related responsibilities including systems design, approvals, sustainability initiatives, and implementation.The first Surf Ranch facility was successfully designed, developed, and commissioned in ten months’ time, and the first internationally live televised World Surf League (WSL) professional surfing competition in a wave system was successfully held at the facility in 2018. Following the success of commercial operations at the Surf Ranch facility in California, the KSWC team built strategic partnerships to further optimize the system, and completed development of the fully commercialized KSWC system for deployment globally.
