As the Chief Growth Officer and a founding member of Combined Arms, I lead efforts to modernize state veteran services, transforming how states leverage data and technology to make strategic, informed decisions for veterans and military families. Through our Combined Arms Technology Platform, I’m honored to further our mission of reducing veteran poverty and suicide, enhancing economic mobility, and empowering states to implement solutions that create measurable, lasting impact. I work closely with state agencies, public funders, and a dedicated internal team to build sustainable, data-driven partnerships that place veteran needs at the forefront. My journey began with five years as a U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant, serving three back-to-back tours in the Middle East as an explosives expert and earning a Purple Heart in my final tour. Inspired by my military experience, I returned to Houston, Texas, earning a B.A. in Communication Studies and later dedicating myself to improving veterans’ lives through nonprofit work and advocacy. I launched and managed a series of veteran-focused programs—ranging from employment and mental health to peer support and community impact—pioneering a data-informed, collaborative model that grew Combined Arms from 7 to 250 partner organizations.Today, I continue to expand our technology’s reach, leading states toward evidence-based resource allocation for veterans. At the heart of my work is a commitment to building impactful, tech-driven solutions that empower communities to take care of their own. I am a collaborator, strategist, innovator, and veteran success advocate.
