With an MS in Biotechnology and over 3 years of research experience at The University of Texas at San Antonio, I am passionate about bridging the gap between academia and industry in the biomanufacturing field. My thesis work involved identifying a Coccidioides antigen and mapping its T cell epitopes, deepening our understanding of immune responses to this significant fungal pathogen.My expertise spans molecular biology and biochemistry techniques, including plasmid transformation, gel electrophoresis, protein purification, and immunological assays. Alongside my technical skills, I bring strengths in data analysis, lab management, and scientific communication, which I am eager to leverage within the biomanufacturing sector.While my primary goal is to serve as a bridge between academic research and industry application, I am also open to roles focused on data analysis, bioinformatics, scientific illustration, and coding, given my diverse skill set. To prepare for data-driven roles, I am expanding my technical knowledge in Python, Django, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
