Responsible for required examinations and inspections of the work scope in accordance with the applicable codes, specifications, procedures and instructions. Perform daily surveillance and monitoring of production. I am the first and final line of enforcement and verification to code compliance, and quality standards. Additional duties include but not limited to: writing weld procedures, witnessing and writing PQR's along with welder performance qualifications. Positive material identification, monitor Level I LPT activities, QC consumable materials, calibration of tools and equipment. Responsibilities include: full dimensional inspection, Liquid Penetrant, Visual, Leak testing inspection, 7 years radiographic film interpretation, review of material test reports, vendor surveillance and full communication between customer, customer inspector's, 3rd party inspection companies, and Authorized Inspector. Extensive experience with ASME Section VIII, IX, V, Section II part A,B,C, B31.1, B31.3, Tema, and AWS.
