As House Manager, I am responsible for managing and supporting Trinity’s international students. My duties include ensuring a clean living environment, driving students to appointments and stores, assisting with cultural interpretation, and in general acting as a guide to new students from international contexts. This role has grown me enormously in the realms of management, conflict resolution, cultural interpretation, boundary-setting, time management, and HR. I’m grateful for the students I’ve met from various African and South American contexts, and I have felt my world broaden with every new student I meet and serve.

I’ve had the great opportunity of working with TSM’s Facilities Manager to improve the campus grounds, take care of maintenance problems, and learn the basics of facility upkeep. Most of my energy is directed toward landscaping and grounds-keeping, although I am often involved in carpentry and interior maintenance.

I began Ridgeline Landscaping under the name "Bryce's Lawn Care and Landscaping" when I was 11 years old to begin saving money for college. I didn't have a license at the time, so I had to use my brother's old bike-and-trailer contraption to get my equipment around town. Over the years I outgrew what I could do by myself, so I subcontracted young men to mow lawns and work the landscaping jobs with me. By God's grace, I was able to grow the business to the point where it grossed over $45,000 in its last year. I've since sold the business to one of my subcontractors, and I am happy to say that it is in good hands and doing good work for the people of Grove City. Working with Ridgeline was one of the most formative experiences of my young adulthood. My dad was my greatest encouragement and mentor, and he coached me through the whole process. I learned skills like customer relations, physical and mental endurance, compassionate leadership, and financial responsibility in ways that I don't think I could have learned otherwise. God graciously used Ridgeline to shape much of the man I am today, and I am grateful to have had such a valuable experience.
