• Collaborated with school administrations at an elementary and middle school level, community partners, teachers and other stakeholders to create and maintain critical student and school supports.• Managed implementation, evaluation, and improvements of data-based student interventions to improve school attendance, social-emotional learning, math competencies, and literacy skills.• Managed the performance and professional development of 32 City Year AmeriCorps Members over the course of a year and a half to coach and tutor students in underfunded middle and elementary schools. Collaborated with individual AmeriCorps members to develop structured professional development plans.• Lead an affinity group on environmental action in which about 15 City Year staff and AmeriCorps members came together once a month to discuss various aspects of climate change and real actionable steps in schools to reduce waste, shift behaviors, and raise awareness of climate issues among the student body, staff, and faculty. • Conducted outreach and professional consulting services to public schools in the Tulsa area to promote environmentally-themed STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) curricula under the Green STEM program.• Marketed M.e.t. programs to community members and school staff to increase speaking and outreach opportunities.• Developed the Green STEM program, taught Green STEM lessons, and conducted tours of recycling collection centers.

• Co-taught English classes with a Macedonian counterpart and worked to develop student-centered lessons, classroom resources, and strategies for multi-level classrooms.• Held English and Theater Clubs with an average of 10 students per session.• Collaborated on two successful grants: -- The Technology and English Lab and Library – Hristo Uzunov Primary School: Renovated a classroom complete with bookshelves, books, new floors, and blinds; purchased a computer, an E-Beam smartboard and computer speakers; Funded by the Peace Corps Small Project Assistance (SPA) committee-- The Around the World Camp – Kicevo, Macedonia: Five day camp in which 80 primary school students were taught by 9 Macedonian and American teachers about different cultures around the world; Funded by the Peace Corps Partnership Program (PCPP)• Macedonia Model United Nations (MMUN)-- Assisted in developing the MMUN project in several ways, including developing social media accounts and contributing to a seminar for MMUN Club Leaders. -- Served as an MMUN Club Leader for Kicevo and facilitated Model U.N. trainings for a group of young people who eventually went to the national conference in April 2017.• Youth Development Organization “Factor”-- Collaborated on several projects, including establishing the goals of the organization, the Around the World Camp grant, and a series of Trivia Night fundraisers.

• Conducted research for use by research staff, primarily on security in Egypt, Egypt-Russia relations and human rights in the Middle East. The research was used in memos, topic overviews and timeline entries that were published to the Tahrir Institute website and used to brief congressmen and other policy makers.• Authored and co-authored concise and argumentative articles summarizing and analyzing events in the Middle East.
