I have had the privilege of leading UX design on 3+ projects of my own and assisting on multiple others as a front-end developer. My main duties include casting vision for digital products and applications through mockups & clickable prototypes that cultivate value and confidence for our clients. I daily work in React/Gatsby/GraphQL/Rails/NodeJS/React Native environments, writing semantic HTML and architecting scalable & reusable CSS systems. I continue to have the opportunity to work with clients such as Lifeway Christian stores, Wordsearch Bible, Lumerit Scholar, etc.

After completing my last apprenticeship I chose to pursue freelance web projects to better develop my client and customer management skills before pursuing a studio-based career.

At RoleModel I was chosen for a rigid 6-month apprenticeship on the design team. Here I was immersed straight into real-world, agile driven projects. I assisted in multiple web apps as jr. designer and front-end developer. I participated in design sprints, user flow planning, lean canvas design, wireframing, and many other software design exercises. I was tasked with rebuilding and refactoring the RoleModel website using Middleman, Slim, BEM, SCSS, JS, and Git. I worked side-by-side with agile software craftsmen in a paired programming environment assisting in stylesheet architecture and front-end quality control.

I was the lead designer on a web-based product used for billing medical institutions. I was responsible for all wireframing, UX, user research, product design, and minor front-end development.

Here I was part of a 3 man team where I lead design on an iOS app called "Bible Books Game" and I also the design of the Thy Word is True website, helping with front-end development using Twitter Bootstrap and Rails.
