• Photo-interpretively mapped highly diverse vegetation communities to the association level for fine-scale vegetation maps throughout 7 California counties spanning over 6 million acres. • Wrote taxonomic dichotomous keys to represent regionally-specific plant community assemblage rulesets for photointerpretors and vegetation map users.• Led accuracy assessment, field validation, and field calibration field work in 10 California counties spanning over 7 million acres.• Created a comprehensive data dictionary schema and developed numerous inter-agency data collection standards and protocols.• Created pre-attack maps for firefighters deployed to new fires through the North Bay. • Hired to work with a team of five to help support park projects, initiatives and community programs throughout the GGNRA. • Tasks included field work such as plant surveying, GPS mapping, manual and mechanical invasive species removal, gas-powered tool use, native plant revegetation, native seed collection, volunteer and contract crew oversight, and biological monitoring. • Office work included communication and planning with site-specific managers, office administration, schedule coordination, and tool maintenance and organization.

• Mapped reference polygons for invasive plant species within the GGNRA and managed the historical treatment data for those species going back decades using Calflora Weed Manager.• Created a treatment database adopted organization-wide. • Managed contractor crews doing removal of Cape Ivy in highly sensitive wetland habitat.

• Field technician hired to install biological soil crust plots for a restoration project developed by USGS. • Tasks included installing experimental structures, seeding native plants by hand, plant community pattern recognition, plant ID, taking soil aggregate stability measurements, line-point intercept, water infiltration, and soil sampling for chemical analyses.

• Genetics lab leader focusing on demographic and genetic analysis of two Threatened California native plants. • Tasks included teaching and mentoring new lab members on protocols such as DNA extraction, PCR, DNA clean-up, multichannel pipetting, and fragment analysis.

• Sole student archivist tasked with processing and digitizing 4000+ California plant specimens, cataloging the collection including nomenclature updates, and presenting work at bi-annual campus symposiums.

• Field researcher heading a project studying effects of isolation and genetic diversity on the persistence of Critically Endangered Streptanthus glandulosus ssp. niger. • Field work included demography, seed collection and storage, outplanting, pollinator observations, environmental samplings, and plant and insect ID.

• My role included project management for Creek Care, an ongoing, weekly creek restoration project along above-ground Leona Creek sites on the Mills College campus, as well as sustainability education for Mills students and faculty.

• Sole student archivist at the Mills College Special Collections Room, working specifically on fine press ephemera materials. I've worked on private collections from women's activist and Japanese writer, Beate Sirota Gordon and experimental composer Pauline Oliveros.

• I worked as a propagator in the Native Plants section in the Botanical Garden at UC Berkeley, focusing on plant sales, propagation, identification, and general plant care.

• I interned at SARC for short periods in high school, where my responsibilities revolved around prepping the rare coins and other materials for seasonal auctions.
