Professional ExperienceMr. Powell has over 29 years of experience and has been involved in all phases of project development from initial programming to construction administration. He has considerable experience as a project architect with large, complex projects from initial design to completion. His project experience has involved consultant team coordination, production supervision, contract document production, and construction administration. He has experience working remotely in other countries and offices. He spent a year in Atlanta Georgia during the design of the Atlanta Braves Ballpark/1996 Olympic Stadium, and again spent a year in Australia working on the Sydney SuperDome 2000 Olympic Arena while working in a combined project office of architects and engineers. The SuperDome conformed to the “Green Olympics” theme in Sydney, Australia and launched the sustainable design movement worldwide. He is LEED accredited and worked on multiple military projects.
